Common Questions

Things Families Often Ask

What exactly happens in a Family Conversation Workshop? +
The workshop is a small-group, facilitated session focusing on listening techniques, how to take turns speaking clearly, and frameworks for discussing household topics calmly. It is general communication skill-building — not counselling, mediation, or advice about any particular family's situation.
How long does a session last? +
The Family Conversation Workshop typically runs around three hours including a short break. The Household Records Organising Session is a half-day session (four to five hours) to allow enough time to go through your documents thoroughly.
Who should attend — just adults or the whole family? +
Sessions are designed for adults (18 and over). Families are welcome to decide together who would benefit. The workshops work well for couples, parents, adult siblings, or any household members who want to practise communication skills together.
What documents should we bring to the Records session? +
We send a simple checklist after you book. Typically this includes birth certificates, house documents, insurance papers, and any household agreements you already hold. We help you sort and label what you bring — we do not advise on legal status or content of any document.
Is the Family Learning Membership a commitment contract? +
No. Membership runs month to month and you may choose not to renew at any time. There are no lock-in clauses. We want members to be here because it is genuinely useful to them.
Do you offer individual counselling or legal document advice? +
No. Kinfold provides general education, organising support, and peer community only. For individual counselling, family mediation, or legal matters, we encourage you to consult qualified professionals and the relevant official bodies in Thailand.
How do I pay? What currency is accepted? +
All prices are in Thai Baht (฿). We accept bank transfer and common Thai payment apps. Payment details are provided after you submit an enquiry via the contact form below.
