Bangkok — Conversation Workshop

I came with my husband thinking it would be a bit formal, but it felt more like a calm group chat. The Conversation Turn Cards are now stuck on our fridge. We use them when things get a bit heated over household decisions. Small thing, but it actually helps.

Samphanthawong — Records Session

We had a box of documents that nobody had touched since we moved house two years ago. The half-day session sorted the whole lot. The colour-coding system is straightforward — my teenage son actually understood it without being told twice. Practical and no nonsense.

Bangkok — Learning Membership

I joined the membership three months ago. The peer community is the part I did not expect to value as much as I do. It is good to read that other families deal with the same ordinary friction we do. Nothing dramatic — just people working on clearer day-to-day communication.

Silom — Conversation Workshop

The facilitator was clear from the start about what the session covers and what it does not. I appreciated that honesty. We are an adult family of four and the listening exercise turned out to be the most useful part for us — surprisingly simple but effective in practice.

Bang Rak — Records Session

My parents and I did the records session together. We had a big folder confusion going on with old documents mixed with new ones. Four hours later, everything is labelled and separated. The facilitator was careful not to comment on the content of documents — just the organising, which was exactly what we needed.

Sukhumvit — Learning Membership

I have been a member for five months. The monthly workshops vary in topic — some months are more relevant to me than others, which feels honest rather than padded out. The guide library is something I dip into regularly. Good value once you are using it consistently.

Participant Journeys in Detail

These accounts describe general experiences shared with consent. Outcomes vary by family and situation.

Case Study — Family Conversation Workshop

Challenge

Two adult siblings and their parents regularly disagreed on household spending decisions. Conversations tended to escalate before reaching any agreement. The family had tried discussing things over meals but found it difficult to stick to one topic.

What the Session Provided

All four attended the Conversation Workshop together. They practised a structured turn-taking method with the Conversation Turn Cards and worked through a sample household-topic scenario provided by the facilitator. Each person identified one personal listening habit they wanted to adjust.

What Changed

One month later the family reported using the cards for two household discussions. Both completed without escalation. The father noted that having a visible tool on the table changed the tone before anyone had said anything.

"We were a bit sceptical but having something concrete to point to made a difference."

Case Study — Household Records Organising

Challenge

An elderly couple and their adult daughter attended together. Documents from the past fifteen years were spread across three drawers and two bags. Finding any specific paper took considerable time and sometimes ended in frustration among the three of them.

What the Session Provided

The facilitator walked them through the Kinfold Folder Method over roughly four hours. Documents were sorted into seven labelled categories. Each category received a colour tab and an index card describing what belongs there. The completed folder was taken home.

What Changed

The daughter reported that a needed certificate was located in under a minute at the following week's errand run — something that had previously involved an hour of searching. The parents use the folder independently now without needing to ask her where things are.

"We should have done this two years ago honestly."
